The Department of Linguistics had a very successful Pitt Day of Giving in support of our Linguistics Research and Internship Support Fund. Thanks to the generosity of 147 donors, we've won the Dean's Challenge and will receive an additional $1,000 in support from Dean Kathleen Blee of the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. We've also won second place in the Donor Challenge and we will receive an additional $1,000 in support of our interns. Your support will help our students gain the opportunity to experience valuable internships and will help strengthen the pipeline for underrepresented students.
